Our Team

Vince Chmielewski is the owner of VC Web Design. He has a BS in computer science from the University of Michigan and a MBA from the New York Institute of Technology. Vince has been in the IT industry for 19 years. His primary focus is application development with Java and PHP using Oracle and MySQL. Vince began VC Web in 1995 and formally incorporated in 2009 prior to graduating from the SPARK East business incubator. Vince is now serving on the LDFA SmatZone board, which provides funding in support of high technology enterprises in the Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor area.

Amanda Kirkwood is the Web Content Writer at VC Web Design. She recently obtained her B.A. in Legal & International Studies at St. John's University in NYC, NY and is currently a second-year law student. Amanda maintains client communication, writes, edits, & proofreads web content, and handles promotional events.

Julie Van De Water is a Web Developer at VC Web Design. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Web Development from Baker College, and has been working in web design and marketing since 2005. Julie helps create a variety of sites for new clients, and also helps with maintaining and updating existing client websites.

Amelia Bateman is the Marketing Specialist for VC Web Design. In 2006, Amelia graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College at Eastern Michigan University's College of Business. She assists clients with marketing strategies including Branding, PPC, SEO, and social media.

Kurt Hines is a technology consultant and director of VC Web's IT services. From spyware removal to complete workflow automation and paperless office setup, Kurt provides a complete IT solution for your business. Kurt studied at Michigan State University and upon graduation began working in the IT field developing smart and affordable solutions for business technology implementation.

Dave Fienup is our sound engineer for video and audio productions. Dave obtained a Master of Arts In Media Arts from the University of Michigan and specializes in sound recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.

Rachel Wickremasinghe is our Graphic Designer for logos, web design, and other media. She has also functioned as our spokesmodel for commercials. Rachel attended Schoolcraft College and earned an Associates Degree in Computer Graphics Technology for Print Media in 2004. Her first design position was for EG Design in Brighton, MI.

Nathan Yost is an Ann Arbor native, and Computer Science graduate from Eastern Michigan University. A seasoned soft- ware engineer, Nate is responsible for creating and maintaining the PHP, JavaScript and database infrastructure.
